Do you have a link with The Haven Yateley?

I came into contact with Ralph and several others whilst searching for my own half-brother born at The Haven, so in 2009 I setup a closed Facebook group The Haven, Baptist Mother & Baby Home, Yateley, Hampshire for anyone who has a close link with someone born there. Whilst many members are there to find out more about the home and the situation that the birth mum's found themselves in, often they are also hoping for contact and the group has hopefully helped provide them with information on how to find out more, register on the Adoption Contact Register and apply for intermediary services to help with their search. We've even helped with contact in a few instances, including this wonderful reunion story and also had a Haven baby apply to join and been able to tell them that their birth family had been looking for them and been members of the group for over 6 years. Of course it's not always a happy ending, but members are very supportive of each other when that happens and sometimes birth mum's are able to recall details of others who were at The Haven at the same time and shed some personal insight. More recently I've started work on a website abouot The Haven, particularly for those who don't use Facebook. As well as info about the home, I plan to add some personal stories if contacts agree (anonymised as appropriate) and also links to other related sites, so I'll be adding one to The Ralph Story of course.
